OUR FOUNDER

Victoria Mabon

Founder, Social Media Strategist

Victoria began her career in the financial services industry 17 years ago working for a financial marketing organization.  Since then, she has provided comprehensive support and coaching to financial advisors across the country around branding, marketing strategies, sales process, service & operations, technology, and leadership.  Serving as a VIRTUAL EXTENSION of her team of advisors’ offices, Victoria also provided DESIGN and EXECUTION support as needed.  Her knowledge & understanding of how multiple marketing funnels can work together, and her skill with graphic & web design, video & photography editing, and the written word make her an ideal candidate for those looking for a well-rounded content partner.

Melissa Kent

Content Development Manager
Melissa began her career in the insurance industry during her college years interning at Farmers Insurance. Upon graduating she accepted a position with Aviva (now Athene) before later moving into a marketing position with Advisors Excel. Her experience working in financial services on both the marketing and product side makes her a key asset to Victorious Social in developing content for our clients’ social media campaigns. When not at work, Melissa can be found spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their 2 boys. She's got some amazing creative culinary skills as well - and enjoys baking cakes & cookies.

Sam Brooks

Digital Copywriter
Sam graduated from Emporia State Univ., where he was involved in social clubs and worked at the university’s publication, The Bulletin. He came to Victorious Social with three years of customer-facing and copywrite experience. Sam works diligently to provide every Victorious Social client with their own unique brand and voice. He specializes in writing copy that is educational to the audience, but still conversational and engaging. Outside of work, Sam enjoys his life in downtown Kansas City, spending time with family, and is involved in a variety of non-profit causes, the most prominent being Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Kelli Greiner

Creative Editorial Manager
Kelli has a diverse background in brand identity, graphic design, internal communications, and human resources. With a Business Communications degree, she began her career in human resources, focusing on internal communications and employee relations. Wanting to spend more time on creative work, Kelli co-founded MiLK boutique where she gained extensive experience in branding and marketing. After selling MiLK, Kelli joined H&R Block's talent acquisition team, leading initiatives to create process and procedure documentation. With a flair for creative elements and content analysis, Kelli is a great fit for her role at Victorious Social. Outside of work, Kelli enjoys spending time with family, exploring new restaurants, and honing her pickleball skills.

Alaina Taylor

Graphic Designer
Alaina attended Kansas State University where she majored in business marketing. During college, Alaina served as a Kendra Scott Campus Ambassador where she produced social media content to promote the brand. Alaina began at Victorious Social as an intern during her senior year at K-State before accepting a full-time position upon graduating. What she enjoys most about her position is the creative freedom to think outside the box and design eye-catching content. In her spare time, she and her husband, Spencer, like to watch Netflix series, decorate their home, organize, and hang out with their St. Bernard, Vinny.

Katye Vausbinder

Content & Design Associate
Katye attended William Jewell College, in Liberty Missouri, where she was the women's golf team captain, and President of her sorority. She has always had a passion for creating and designing and found herself using her creative energy through random projects in college for fun or for others to enjoy. In her spare time, she loves to cook, organize her apartment, golf, and spend time with her friends and family.

Barbara Ataide

Social Media Ads Manager
Barbara is from Barreiras BA, Brazil. She came to Victorious Social with a degree in marketing from Unisinos University. She’s also completed several certifications over the years in the area of digital marketing strategies, Google Ads, Meta Ads, web design, and content creation. In her spare time, Barbara creates podcast content, enjoys going to the gym, and has a love for ballet that she also teaches to children and adults in her community.

Karsen Overton

Graphic Designer
A graduate of Kansas State University with 5 years' experience in the fashion industry working as a costume designer for a national brand, Karsen prides herself on being a detail-oriented designer, highly creative, and motivated to achieve results. She is well versed in technical design, CAD drawing, and digital print, with extensive knowledge across Adobe Creative Suites tools and 3D CAD software. When she isn't working you can find her spending time with her 3 cats, drawing and painting, or spending time with friends and family.

Alex Greiner

Social Media Intern
Alex is a Communication student at the University of Kansas, originally from Kansas City. She possesses a natural talent for connecting with others and expressing ideas through various mediums. Outside of academics, Alex finds joy in soccer, camping, and cherishing moments with friends and family. With a passion for social media and graphic design, she aspires to channel her communication skills into a dynamic career. Alex’s journey is a fusion of community, creativity, and a commitment to making an impact in the world of digital communication.

Kinley Windholz

Copywriter Intern
Kinley is a Junior at Kansas State University currently working towards her degree in Communication Studies. She has double minors in Political Science and Advertising & Public Relations, along with a certificate in Social Media Management. Although her journey began with aspirations in Political Science, she found her real passion in the realm of Communications and Advertising. She recognizes the profound significance of how brands and individuals communicate, understanding that message delivery is just as crucial as the content itself. Outside of academics and work, she loves trying new recipes in the kitchen to share with her friends and family, rewatches Grey’s Anatomy constantly, and spends time with the people she loves most. Her key passions reflect her empathy and dedication as well as her desire to create meaningful connections in every aspect of her life.

Layni Hernandez

Social Media Intern
Layni has passion for creativity and a drive for excellence which she channels into supporting our clients’ design needs. Currently preparing to embark on her academic journey at Washburn University in the fall of 2025, Layni is set to pursue her studies in Forensic Biology/Pathology. During her free time, Layni immerses herself in music and performing arts. A talented guitarist and budding songwriter, she delights in composing soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics. She frequently graces the stage at local theaters, where her passion for storytelling and expression illuminates the spotlight.

Marlea Harlan

Copywriter Intern
Marlea is a student at Kansas State University majoring in Agricultural Communications & Journalism with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations while also pursuing a certificate in Social Media Management. She plans to graduate in May of 2025. Marlea is passionate about advocating for clients to communicate their messages across social media platforms while uniquely expressing the core values of their company. Outside of her academic studies and work, she enjoys playing the guitar, road tripping with friends or family, cheering on the K-State Wildcats, and spoiling her dog, Ginger.

Questionnaire

In order to lay out an effective content strategy, we need to truly understand who you are as a person, learn about your business, your processes, your marketing efforts, and your ideal client.  This starts with our Onboarding Questionnaire.

02.

New Client Audit

As part of the Victorious Team, we will evaluate your existing social pages’ content, design, and current following.  We will also review your current marketing systems and processes that will coordinate with the social strategy. We will present any recommended changes.

03.

Strategy Session

Using the information you provide inside of your Questionnaire, along with our own research, we will present a social content strategy we believe will get you noticed, create engagement, and provide you with quality branded content.

04.

Execution*

Management of social media strategy:  photo and video editing, creative design, caption copy writing, posting to Facebook and Instagram business pages, LinkedIn personal page, and YouTube channel.
